FRED TILLICH
With over 25 years of management experience which specialized in product development, he has proven himself to be a self-starter and hard worker that sticks with a project to a successful conclusion.
A native of Chicago, he grew up a Cubs and Bears fan. His Mom worked at a restaurant and bar right across the street from Wrigley Field. And he had a chance to meet and get to know many of the Cubs’ greats of the late 50s and 60s as a youngster.
He moved to Southern California in the early 70s and worked in management capacities with the following duties:
• General Motors Assembly Division as an Engineering Monitor;
• United Auto Workers as a Union Representative negotiating for over 5,000 members; and
• As a realtor garnered the honor of “Realtor of the Year” in 1980 for his efforts in the Southern California area.
He honed his skills in the restaurant business and spent five years in management for some of the biggest chains in the US, including Red Lobster and Cousins Sandwich shops. He also served as a franchisee trainer for a national chain, working and consulting with both the franchise owner and chain management to improve the bottom line.
He spent the last five years in the gaming industry working all facets of live play at a major Native-American casino in the Phoenix metropolitan area. It was there he saw a need for a new, marketable way to bring together the concepts of team sports with the game of poker and adapt these principles so that players, customers and just plain fans would enjoy participating in and watching this new phenomenon.
He was recognized by the Southern California chapter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) for organizing their first celebrity basketball game to benefit MDA. He was presented with the MDA Humanitarian Award for his efforts.
He and his wife of 12 years, Leah, reside in Henderson, Nevada.
